UNITE classes are delivered online as H.264 video streams and files, viewable on Windows and Macintosh computers.
To view the streams and/or files, you will need:
A word about browsers and media players:
Not all combinations of browsers and media players will provide the high quality images needed for properly viewing UNITE class material.
UNITE classes are encoded in H.264 video format, and are embedded in web pages. This means that both the browser and media player software must work together well to give the best quality video. We strongly recommend the Chrome or Firefox browsers paired with the Adobe Flash software.
Download Google Chrome
Download Mozilla Firefox
Download Adobe Flash
Important Firewall Information:
UNITE HTML5 and Adobe Flash streaming video should be able to stream through most firewalls. However, students who plan to view the lectures at their work site are advised to check with their company's network systems administrator concerning firewall issues.
Suggested monitor resolution:
UNITE recommends 1024 x 768 or higher for best results.
When viewing the "two-pane" format, a monitor resolution of at least 1280 x 720 is recommended for optimal viewing.
