Students enrolled in CSE courses pay a Collegiate Fee which in part allows them to use CSE Lab resources, including free software for personal computers (such as Mathmatica and Matlab), remote access of UNIX machines and use of other CSE Labs resources (including eleven computer labs on campus).
UNITE streaming video can be accessed through any computer with proper hardware and software. UNITE does not maintain computers for student or faculty use.
On the University of Minnesota's Twin Cites campus, we have found that computers in the following public computer labs on campus are properly equipped and updated to display UNITE streaming video:
Access to UNITE streaming videos and podcasts always require course enrollment and user authentication (University of Minnesota Internet account).
Students enrolled in on-campus sections of courses that UNITE is recording/streaming maybe able to access the streaming video archives on a delayed basis. See UNITE's Policy regarding access for students enrolled in the on-campus section of a course.

The MSDN Academic Alliance is an annual membership program for technical departments in the area of Computer Science, Engineering, and Information Systems. As a member, a department receives an MSDN AA subscription that includes Microsoft platform, servers, and developer tools software. This software may be installed on any number of departmental lab machines. In addition, the department's faculty and students may obtain a copy of the software to install on their personal computers.

The University’s myU portal is the digital doorway to the University for students, staff and faculty. The myU portal provides a central, customizable space with single sign-on access to commonly-used University tools such as e-mail, Canvas course sites, Google Drive, the Bookstores online ordering system, One Stop and University Library's online resources.
